Do I need to license my cats?

The Township of Greater Madawaska does not currently have a By-law for the activity of cats.

Do I need to purchase a dog tag?

All residents must purchase an annual license for their dogs.

How can I obtain my dog tag?

You can purchase or renew your dog tag online or visit the Municipal office. Once you have purchased your dog tag/license, you will receive the physical tag in the mail.

How long is my license valid for?

Dog tags are valid until December 31st of the year of purchase.

Is there a fee for a replacement tag?

If your dog loses their tag, a replacement tag can be ordered online. A $10.00 fee applies for replacement tags.

How much is to license my dog?

The license fee for a dog is $15.00 if registered before March 31 (per dog) and $20.00 if registered after March 31 (per dog)
